Liven up your wardrobe with prints

To keep my “eye in” I have been popping into the shops recently to check out the new Spring/Summer collections just arriving.  I noticed many of the brands have a wide range of both floral and graphic prints in their ranges.

They looked very fresh and are an ideal way to keep your wardrobe up to date between seasons. They can be worn with leggings or trousers with a T shirt or thermal vest, worn underneath while the weather is still cold, and with jeans when the weather is a little warmer.

I am very careful with prints, I feel that so many of them scream “old lady with no fashion sense”. And I don’t want to look like I’ve just stepped out of the 70’s.

      Hi Rita

I agree you have to choose prints that work for you. Personally I don’t look good in florals, even though they can look good on certain women, however I can wear the abstract and the graphic. I am definitely not going back to the “flower power” days of the 70s.

Beautiful examples! I’m going to check my closet this week for lurking prints. I’m sure they’re in there somewhere.
