I have had this kimono jacket for a few seasons. It is an ideal cover-up at this time of year. It can be dressed up or down. Here I have popped it on over my navy trousers and white shirt (see the previous post). It not only adds a touch of warmth but also elevates the outfit to more formal.
The pearl earrings and necklace help to give the outfit a more elegant look. I have twisted and knotted the necklace to give it a more individual look. Similar necklace here and similar earrings here.

It's lovely. I'm meeting my sister and niece in Chicago for a girls' weekend and a bit of shopping. I'm looking at retirement, so don't really want to invest in any more "office" wear. I'm thinking a kimono might be a good add for me. Thanks for the inspiration...
