Capsule wardrobe for Paris

By the time you read this post I shall be winging my way on Eurostar to spend two nights in Paris. I am very excited. I am meeting up with Susan of Unefemme. We plan to sit in cafes, people watch, visit a few galleries and generally have a good time. Not to mention a little shopping!! I will be taking my camera and, weather permitting, I plan to take street shots to illustrate what women in Paris wear in December.

As I don’t want to be carrying heavy luggage I have planned a capsule wardrobe which fits snugly into my backpack.

I write a fashion and beauty blog for women over 50 with the aim of inspiring mature women to continue to enjoy and have fun with their fashion choices. I have spent most of my working life in some way connected to fashion. I started my career in Fashion PR and then trained as an Image Consultant when my children were young. As women of a certain age we are a growing demographic let us prove that we can also be a chic one.

Thats a brilliant feat of packing, need to take a leaf out of your book ! However, I find my 'beauty aids' seem to take up a lot of space, any tips Josephine ?

  My capsule wardrobe worked beautifully. Just took minimal make-up and miniature bottles of skincare etc. In the city you are never far from a pharmacy in emergency
