Another Saturday another chic wedding in our local church. I love to sit outside in the sun and watch all the guests arriving and leaving. This time it was a combination of Italian and French chic. Interesting to note that there were quite a few trouser outfits and one or two long dresses.

One of my favourite looks. Are they trousers or a skirt or somewhere in between. If you are not keen on hats what a great alternative. |

I liked the colour and the sparkly bag |

I loved this dress. A subtle grey with a hint of sparkle. Magic |

I guess this was either the mother of the bride or groom |

Trousers very much in evidence. Not sure about this look for a formal wedding |

Stunning colours they suited her so well |
One of the best dressed weddings for some time. What do you think?

I like the two maxi dresses – very chic.
Weddings are one of the few times left when we can dress up – and everyone in this post has stepped up to the occasion, great to see. Thanks for the pics.
Barbara sent me this lovely email. Thanks Barbara
Loved your posts on French chic wedding outfits. As I live near a chateau that is used for wedding receptions, I get to see all sorts of outfits. It’s easy to spot the guests from Paris, they never wear a jacket or coat even if the weather is cold or raining, it always seems to be bright stole draped around their shoulders. I loved your previous post, showing the men wearing red trousers, French men seem to be much more adventurous than English men. After living in France for 23 yrs even my man is much more adventurous , I never thought I’d ever see him wearing cotton mustard coloured trousers, yippee for living in France. I love reading your posts, although I don’t always leave a comment.
Am enjoying the wedding posts — what a variety of fashions!
I love these glimpses of style from far away. Here on the Island we are casual to a fault. To see women and men take care with their ensembles is such a pleasure, but even weddings are woefully slapdash.
The grey tunic style dress with a bit of sparkle has my vote. It’s so lovely to see lots of people make the effort to dress up to celebrate. I wish it was something I saw on a daily basis (without having to be a wedding planner, haha).

I’m liking the last dress and wrap. Happy colors for a wedding. I do like the long dresses as well. Perfect for a formal affair.
These guests look as though they have taken care with their appearance. I like the green dress a lot.
