Christmas gift ideas for women

Christmas gift ideas for women. This year I have kept my gift selection as practical as possible. We are all aware that we want to make the most of our limited budgets.

The first item I have chosen is this lovely snuggly wool scarf. It is made from responsible wool. I have a similar one myself and feel that it is not only warm and cosy but this style is very on trend this season. The pink and purple crystal necklace is similar to the one that Anna Wintour wears. Again suitable for a follower of fashion. Cosy foot warmer, useful when we have to turn the heating down. Talking of the cold there is nothing as warming as a mug of hot chocolate on a cold winter’s day. Every winter I unpack my cashmere bedsocks and wear them in the evening while watching a Netflix series (currently The Crown).

More practical items. I wear an eyemask every night as I find it greatly helps me sleep as does my silk pillowcase which helps prevents those crease lines that appear on the side of the face you prefer to sleep on. The Bobbi Brown moisturiser is a great all-rounder. Finally, I have included a hydro-fusion hairdryer. I have just replaced my old hairdryer and find the modern ones so much lighter and easier to use.

Details of the above:

Chunky wool scarf made from a blend of responsibly sourced wool Arket || Crystal necklace MarksandSpencer || Fluffy heat up foot warmer The White Company || V&A Italian hot chocolate JohnLewis&Partners || Eye mask The White Company || Beige leather cross body bag MarksandSpencer || Pink cashmere bed socks The White Company || Bobbi Brown moisture cream JohnLewis&Partners || Silk pillowcase JohnLewis&Partners || Babyliss hydro fusion hairdryer JohnLewis&Partners.

I will be back later this week with further gift ideas.

I write a fashion and beauty blog for women over 50 with the aim of inspiring mature women to continue to enjoy and have fun with their fashion choices. I have spent most of my working life in some way connected to fashion. I started my career in Fashion PR and then trained as an Image Consultant when my children were young. I subsequently worked in the corporate world running seminars, doing private coaching and speaking at conferences. I started my blog in 2009 as I wanted to share my years of experience working in the world of fashion. I truly believe we can continue to have confidence in the way we present ourselves. Our style may evolve with time and changing lifestyles, yet with a little knowledge and inspiration, we can all continue to have fun with fashion. As women of a certain age we are a growing demographic let us prove that we can also be a chic one.
