I love to window shop in St.Tropez to get fashion inspiration for the coming season.
I got up early on Tuesday morning and caught the shuttle bus into St.Tropez. Tuesday and Saturday mornings are market days in St. Tropez. I love to wander up and down the aisles taking a quick look at all the stalls. I have been doing this for many years now and know exactly where my favourites stalls can be found.
The best fruit and veg and flower stalls are at the front. The best scarf stall is two rows back in the middle. Jewellery stalls are dotted about and do change fairly regularly. On this occasion I found another great scarf stall where I bought a lovely soft grey wool check scarf, soon to be featured on the blog.
Having perused the stalls I then explored the side streets, many of which are filled with designer goodies. They are way beyond my budget. However I got some great ideas from the window displays of how to co-ordinate outfits for the coming season; in ways I had not thought of before
Leopard was definitely prowling the streets this season. I loved the way it was co-ordonated with khaki giving a new twist to “the safari look”.

I fell in love with this gorgeous grey wool wrap coat. What a useful piece for this coming autumn/winter.

Love reading your blogs. Great to see what is happening over the water as love French fashion
Thanks for the postings- I appreciate you're working to bring us up to speed with what's current now! I think the leopard and khaki is an improvement on leopard without khaki. Still I like the grey you're showing much better.
I agree Kari grey is more my thing too. Although I am going to try some khaki this season and I do wear leopard print in grey and blue (not exactly authentic!)
Hi Josephine, how interesting to hear that leopard print is on trend this season. For me, this kind of fabric should be limited to details: shoes, bag or scarf as I find it is often too strong of a statement and not so much my style. In France it has certainly have had a strong connotation.I love kaki as I find it is so easy to mix it with so many colours and has a cool edge! Will definitely buy of that colour! Julie x

love the leiopard, but I tried a wrap collar coat last year and had to return it. The collar "swallowed" me!
Having viewed many videos about "French" style, it's nice to know that here in Florida, we have St. Tropez style. All the other blog/vlogs were really about Paris, which doesn't entirely suit our very hot climate and beach vibe.
I would agree Kathy in the South of France the dress code is much more relaxed. Since it has been very hot here recently most women are wearing cool cotton or linen.
