Shift dress with statement coat

I had such a wonderful time doing this photo shoot. It was like being in fairyland among the gorgeous Azaleas. My monochrome outfit standing out against the riot of colour.

I am wearing a simple cream dress under my black/cream stripe coat. The coat has been a great purchase this summer. It works with trousers, jeans and dresses. A simple black clutch and statement necklace completes the look.

My cream dress is a few years old, similar at John Lewis and Nordstrom. The coat is from MandS (now sold out) similar at John Lewis and Nordstrom. Black clutch bag similar Nordstrom and The outnet.

So beautiful. I think I am too short for the stripes...but I'm stealing this idea as it's a little cold in SF in the summer when the fog rolls in.

This is so lovely on you. An English rose in a backdrop of azaleas. It's a look that I will seek out for myself for an upcoming special occasion.
We visit England twice a year, in Lincoln, and there's a park there that blooms thousands of Rhondadinums in the spring.
