I do occasionally accept sponsored posts where I write about a brand that I consider of interest to my readers. I always write all the copy myself and give my own honest opinion of the products. It is a legal requirement that I disclose when I have been compensated for sponsored posts. Posts will be marked as “in collaboration with Brand” or “I have partnered with Brand” on this post. . All links in sponsored posts which have effectively been paid for will be “no follow” links in accordance with Google’s guidelines on paid links,
I decide whether to accept a sponsored post based on whether I am inspired by the brand, collection or item I have asked to write about; therefore, please provide me with relevant links first for me to consider your offer.
If I am incorporating a gifted product into an outfit post. I write a paragraph about the item and link back to the Brands page. I also disclose that I have received the item for review.
I also from time to time borrow sample items for photographic purposes. This is because I want to offer my readers as wide a choice of outfits as possible and styles that work on a variety of body shapes. This will be declared on the post.
