It is so easy to get carried away in the sales and buy pieces that either do not fit our lifestyle or do not work with other items in our wardrobe. Personally I like to stock up with basics in the sales. Maybe replace T shirts that have got a bit frayed round the edges. Especially useful are those tops that can be worn now and will look equally good under a coat or jacket come the autumn.
I had a spare hour this morning so have been doing a little surfing and discovered some great little work horses in the Net-a-Porter sale. Net-a-Porter is normally a site where I like to window shop and get some fresh ideas. However in the sale good quality and designer items become a bit more obtainable.
I have chosen some everyday tops. Stripes never seem to go out of fashion nor do classic white shirts and plain T shirts.
