How to keep calm and look chic this Christmas

Are you the guest or the host this Christmas? The answer to this question will inform what you might choose to wear on the day. For me comfort and practicality are key requirements. Certainly if I am the host and cooking the turkey I need to have my attention focused on the bird in the oven not the “bird of a certain age” i.e. me.

Let us look at a couple of options that might work to fulfil the two criteria mentioned above and also the additional requirement of looking chic and elegant with no ruffled feathers on display.

As for keeping calm I find taking a few long deep breaths helps when all around us is chaos plus of course a glass of champagne on the day.
