Oh so perfect! Cannot find any such dress in the States. I might order and have sent to daughter's house in Manchester as we go next week for 3 weeks. I never am sure about size. If I am petite frame, wear a 6 generally in US sizes, and find things often too large...what would you recommend? An 8 UK? Just never sure. Thanks Josephine. I put a link in the blog to the dress on the US MarksandSpencer site you might be able to buy it or something similar. They have a good range or get it when you go to the UK. It says size 10 in chart but it is quite loose
Dear Josephine, I love following your travels!! I do have a question regarding the wonderful pink cotton maxi dress. Do you have to wear a slip underneath? I have steered away from cotton and linen dresses because of this very thing. Linen and cotton are cooler to wear in hot summers but if a slip has to be worn I think it defeats the purpose. No I never wear a slip with my cotton dresses. In fact I don't think that I possess one. When the temperature is over 30 degrees and the fabric is quite light cool comfort comes first.
