How to wear a sleeveless jacket

I used to think that sleeveless jackets were not a very useful addition to a wardrobe. However I have recently changed my mind. I bought a wool version by Helene Berman a couple of weeks ago.

At this time of year in the UK it is not always essential to wear a thick winter coat every day. As the buds begin to show on the trees and shrubs a thick sweater teamed with my sleeveless coat/jacket works well.

The longline version also has the added advantage of covering the hips and elongating the line.

I've been on the fence about one of these jackets, but your lovely version has convinced me to give them a try. They'd work here in LA with our mild weather.

I too have come to love the sleeveless jacket late in life. They are wonderful when the weather is fickle and also when travelling. Warm regards.
