How to wear a wrap coat this season.

If you are looking for a lightweight coat to wear over a jacket or thick jumper the wrap shawl collar coat could well be the answer. A bit more formal and practical than the popular cape the wrap is ideal worn now over a blouse or light sweater and can be layered over a thicker sweater or jacket later in the season when the weather gets really chilly.

I am wearing a slightly deeper shade of “Biscay Bay”, which I would describe as a blue toned green.

I have teamed my wrap with a pair of wide leg trousers and a bright pink polo neck sweater. It would look just as good for smart casual week-end wear worn with jeans or slim trousers.

I just bought an unlined Merlot wrap coat at Zara-I love the colour and I am looking forward to wearing it this fall and winter.
