Hello, I am back again with more tips on how to maximise your wardrobe, this time with how to wear classic jeans four ways. I have not progressed to wearing joggers yet, however I may well try a pair soon. In the meantime I have been wearing my tried and trusted Levi jeans (US link) on a regular basis. Some days I am happy to wear them with a simple white tee But sometimes it is nice to dress them up. Above I am wearing them with a pale lilac tie-neck blouse USlink, navy ring belt from Jigsaw but still keeping the vibe casual with my white trainers from FitFlop.
What a difference a change of shoes can make to an outfit. Here I have swopped my trainers for a pair of sparkly silver flats similar.
If you want a bit more formality just add a jacket. My grey checked jacket is a couple of years old from & Other Stories.
Finally, add a belt. I have a long waist so I can take a wide belt similar. You could just as easily create a similar look with a single-breasted jacket and thin or no belt if that is more flattering for your figure.
More ideas on how to dress up your jeans.
Thank you Josephine.
Just thought it would be nice to feature something from Fenwick, a UK family business that appear to be hurting at the moment (my view) as they have half price current season online at half original selling price. We don’t want to lose all our unique stores.
Hello Pru
Fenwick has always been of my favourite small department stores. I used to work near there and would often pop in. They have been difficult to work with as previously they did not have a good comprehensive website due to the fact that their stores worked independently with seperate buying teams. They have been trying to solve this problem for many years and when I checked they now have a good site so I will see if I can include them.
Hi Josephine , I love how you go “shopping in your closet “ rather than encouraging us to spend .Thank-you.
Josephine, lovely combos. I also think the pewter flats would look stunning with your gray trench. Matching your shoe color to your topper always pulls the look together. We call it, “bottoms up.” Cheers to you from Texas.
Hello Sharon
Thanks for the shoe tip I will try it.
All four ways look great. Nice lipstick! Agree with previous comment in that we absolutely must support British businesses both now and when we eventually come out of the current crisis.
Hello Wendy
I mixed two lipsticks together a pink and a blue-red. Both from Lookfabulousforever.
