Our exciting adventures in South Africa

Pink tunic dress and trousers

We had the most wonderful trip to South Africa. Initially I stayed with an old school friend who lives in White River. We then went on a very exciting safari at the Idubi game lodge. The itinerary was organised by Diana Granoux of Leopard.voyage. If you are planning to visit South Africa I would highly recommend Diana, she organised our trip superbly.

The tunic dress I am wearing was from Zara, Black leggings from Uniqlo. I found leggings very useful as on safari the morning and evening drives were cold. White lace layering top from MeandEm. Trainers from New Balance. Hat from St.Tropez Market.

Leopard in Idube game reserve

We were so excited to find a Leopard. They are becoming very rare. This is a fairly old female leopard, named Ravenscroft by the rangers.

Male lion in idubi game reserve

A male lion. One of the big five animals that we were so lucky to see.

Giraffe in Idubi game reserve

The stately giraffe.

We were lucky to see quite a few elephants during the four days that we stayed at the lodge.

I will be posting one more blog post on our Adventures in South Africa next week.

I have a map of Africa on my fridge learning the countries as it’s future fascinates me as a major world block. I wish every person and animal well over the next 100 years.
Loved that outfit by the way. Looks perfect for the purpose.
