Polka dots are still popular this season. I am really pleased I purchased this navy polka dot blouse last year. I like the way it is quirky yet feminine. It stands on its own as a statement piece and also looks good under a coat or jacket. I have even worn it peaking out of a V neck sweater.
These photos were taken last September by Julie of Jafinthebox . Back then I styled my polka dot blouse with dark navy trousers and my MeandEm leather biker jacket.
My blouse is still available at Finery (reduced in the sale from £89 to £44 but only small sizes left). This season they are offering the same style in black and ivory.
My polka dot blouse will look equally good teamed with white jeans for the summer.
Etsy has some fun polka dot scarves if you fancy just a touch of “the spots”.
This seasons polka dots:
Ah, I remember well the day we shot this look! Funny, I am also preparing a article on polka dots. They are everywhere in the shops! You will be once again bang on trends this Spring/Summer! Julie x
I love your boots. May I ask where you got them from?
Hi Ariss
My boots are by Vionic. I did check and they seem to be out of stock. You might find this link useful. https://www.vionicshoes.com/store-locator
I always love polka dots. So fresh and youthful. I also adore that jacket. Very cool and tough looking Just like you. Tough chic.
Polka dots (and stripes) are the only “patterns” I enjoy wearing so good news that they are still around. In the 1980s I had a very dramatic black with small white polka dot dress, full very swishy skirt and de rigeur shoulder pads which I wore with black patent stilettos. I so loved strutting around in it!
Always have polka dots in the wardrobe: blouse, little jacket, dress and two scarves! It’ s cold at the moment and I’ve brightened up my long black dress with the above jacket. Always feel cheerful in polka dots. No wonder you are smiling, Josephine!
