We don’t normally associate puffa jackets with Spring and Summer. Yet if you live in a northern climate they can be a very useful addition to your wardrobe. The navies, greys and blacks can feel a bit heavy at this time of year. So I am delighted to see that many bands and stores are offering some lovely pastel tones that will work well with our lighter toned Spring outfits.
Even though the sun is beginning to return after a very bleak grey winter the temperatures are still chilly and I was grateful for my layers on this photoshoot.
If you choose a puffa in one of the new pastel tones you can wear it now with your warm sweaters and later over a light top or tee. I spotted the one I am wearing in the window of H&M (US link) as I was walking down Regent Street. I think it was the colour that first attracted me. I think that I am going to get a lot of wear out of this jacket. I can see it slung over a print dress or teamed with one of my circular skirts.

Very interested to see your sweater, in first photo, hanging below the jacket! I've been wondering about that. I do it and seems I have to consider each look separately. Sometimes it works, and then sometimes no. Your suggestions? P.S. I'm coming over to London next week when it is supposed to still be quite cold, so am thinking of sweaters under my Uniqlo puffer! thanks!

If you mean my grey pearl beret I think I got this one in St.Tropez market. I have tied to find similar. If you go back to the blog I have put links to Topshop, Nordstrom and Etsy. Etsy might be your best bet.
Love the color of your jacket. It's perfect for you! I live in New England here in the US and it's usually very cold. Last year I invested in a bright red Canada Goose Kensington coat and haven't regretted it despite the hefty price. Also, purchased a bright coral/red puffer jacket from LL Bean. I had to resist the urge to buy both in black which is my usual go to color.

I love the beret - my first thought is to decorate one myself. I have a bright pink beret I bought in Italy years ago that is trimmed with feathers (woodcock so someone told me later). Would I buy it now.....?

Great idea to decorate your own beret. You could put anything you like on it such as studs, pearls or beads.
