Shops in St. Tropez Jewellery

Locally made jewellery on a market stall in the village of Grimaud

When I am in the South of France I love to spend my Saturday morning exploring the shops in St. Tropez. The shop windows are beautifully decorated particularly the homeware shops.

I also check out the local market in our village every Thursday morning.

So colourful and fresh and evocative of the sun, sky and sea.

St. Tropez fashion is relaxed with a touch of bohemian. Jeans combined with lacy tops and fringed accessories.

This shop caters for the more refined and upmarket clientele. I always love the way the put their outfits together.  Chic and very french.

Whatever you may think of the new wide cropped trousers they are au courant with french women of a certain age. Chicly accessorised with a scarf, necklace and some fun shoes.

Oh lucky you ! How I love those chic little French boutiques, so stylish, I do think they have the edge on us in so many ways, especially where fashion is concerned. (And hairdressing, off to Calais to have mine restyled at the weekend! )

A wonderful array of muted colours for which the French are famous.
