What with clearing up after the holidays and then driving down to France plus taking some time off from the internet to de-stress I have not put my attention on the January sales. However, I have been having a look over the last couple of days. The sales are still in full swing. Quite a few of the sizes are sold out; however there are still some great bargains to be had.
My strategy for all sales
Be cautious and prudent. I generally only look at the brands that I like and buy from on a regular basis. A good plan is to stock up on basics. I know I need some new black or navy trousers. Quite a few of my old favourites are worn out and need replacing. Some of my neutral coloured tops have also become less than pristine. Neutral tops are good additions to a well-planned wardrobe. At this time of year knitwear can also be a wise purchase as it is often heavily reduced.
The first brand I have chosen to feature is Hopefashionuk. Many of their clothes are trans-seasonal. I find their foundation range ideal for travel. I could not resist their lux burgundy velvet trousers which I have added to my wardrobe. My plan is to wear them now with my sweaters and later with a plain white shirt.
