The little navy dress versus the little black dress

The little navy dress LND versus the little black dress LBD.

I recently published a post entitled “Alternatives to the LBD” and had a comment from one of my readers that black is not always the most flattering colour as we get a bit older. I tend to agree with her. I personally find navy a softer colour now that my hair has gone partially grey. I do wear some black usually with flattering jewellery or a vibrant coloured scarf near my face.

I have done a little research and here are alternatives to the LBD which I have named the LND (the little navy dress). Hope you like them.

Ah yes navy, so much kinder than black for many of us of a certain age! Not always easy to get, especially for shoes and handbags. Wake up designers! Looking forward to more 'gems' from you in 2016.
