I love the luxury of velvet at this time of year. It always seems so soft and glamorous. It can be worn day or evening. Combine a velvet blazer with a pair of satin or crepe trousers for the evening. During the day the same jacket can be teamed with a pair of jeans and chunky boots.

I have a velvet blazer very similar to the one above that I bought from Hush in 2018. I have worn it on many occasions and it is still one of my favourites. See how I wore it last year.
There are plenty of velvet jackets in the stores this year, some of them are on sale. I have put a selection below.
You can wear a velvet jacket now under a coat if it is cold and on its own in the Spring when the weather gets a bit warmer. The luxury of velvet is an all-year-round indulgence.
The luxury of velvet
Beautiful blazer! This winter I have bought three velvet skirts. Last week I purchased a black velvet blazer. Perhaps I should have bought the green but the black blazer will go with all the skirts if I actually choose to wear them together. I’m not usually that match-match so I doubt I will actually. Haven’t worn velvet since I was a little girl!
