I love wearing white in summer. I find it so bright and fresh. It enhances any skin glow that you might have acquired during sunny days. This soft tan may be fake or real (Don’t forget the sun safe mantra of wearing broad spectrum sunscreen and avoid the mid-day sun).
I know white is high maintenance but if you stick to washable cottons it should not be too difficult to keep your whites pristine. Make sure to keep your hand steady if you are imbibing a glass of red wine at lunchtime. If you do get a stain on your “whites” I find that Vanish Gold powergel works wonders.
The white trousers I am wearing are straight leg “boyfriend” style by Winserlondon. The T shirt from a selection at John Lewis. Hat by Comptoir des Cottonnier. Not still available similar below Necklace by Cos again not available by they do have some interesting styles.

Are you a fan of white during the summer months or do you find it too challenging to wear often?
SUMMER WHITES
I love white in the summer too. You look gorgeous in those photos. I always feel as though I have a healthy glow wearing white. I am very good at spilling things down myself though so thanks for the washing tip!
I love wearing white and only wish I could/would wear it more in winter! White jeans are my favorite…any top at all looks fabulous with them. I agree, they “clean up” nicely if they are cotton or linen. Just bought a great white double layer skirt last week and, with the Sally Hansen Airbrush Leg Makeup all is good!
I definitely agree about the Sally Hansen make-up it is essential. You need to let it dry thoroughly before putting on a white skirt!
You look absolutely beautiful ! Living in Florida all white outfits have become my favorite color of choice on such hot days.
Absolutely love the necklace – exactly right with your outfit.
These photos and this outfit are the best I’ve seen on your blog. You look lovely!
I wear a lot of white in the summer, mostly white jeans and lots of white linen. You can remove wine and fruit stains with white vinegar. If the stain has dried, you may need to soak the stained part overnight, but if you get it right away, sometimes you can just pour the vinegar thru the stain and it will disappear right before your eyes.
Thanks Rita very useful tip.
