WoolOvers knitwear giveaway

Don’t miss this chance to win a WoolOvers knit from their New arrivals collection. Details of how to enter at bottom of post. I discovered WoolOvers a couple of years ago. I find their knitwear very good quality and their prices are competitive. I can testify that they wash well and after two years wear are still in good condition. You can see the two sweaters I chose last year. My beautiful deep fuchsia cashmere cowl neck. It cheers me up every time I wear it on a dull cold winters day. This lovely pale pink cotton V neck sweater is another wardrobe staple and served me well last summer. The new addition to my WoolOvers collection is this lovely chunky grey lambswool cover-up. It is really cosy. WoolOvers are all about superb, all-natural yarns. I have teamed it with my WinserLondon leggings and My new over the knee boots are from MarksandSpencer (US link). I was thrilled therefore when WoolOver’s PR contacted me and suggested we collaborate on this generous giveaway. They are offering my readers the chance of winning one of their natural fibre knits from their NEW ARRIVALS COLLECTION. There are plenty to choose from including sweaters, cardigans and ponchos. Any of their cosy knits would be a great addition to your winter wardrobe. If it is really cold you can wear two sweaters together and then you will not really need a jacket or coat. They are so warm and cosy. My second choice from their new collection is this cashmere and merino hanky hem jumper. I love the way it fits snuggly on the shoulders and then gently flares out cleverly hiding any”midriff bulge”.

I write a fashion and beauty blog for women over 50 with the aim of inspiring mature women to continue to enjoy and have fun with their fashion choices. I have spent most of my working life in some way connected to fashion. I started my career in Fashion PR and then trained as an Image Consultant when my children were young. I subsequently worked in the corporate world running seminars, doing private coaching and speaking at conferences. I started my blog in 2009 as I wanted to share my years of experience working in the world of fashion. I truly believe we can continue to have confidence in the way we present ourselves. Our style may evolve with time and changing lifestyles, yet with a little knowledge and inspiration, we can all continue to have fun with fashion. As women of a certain age we are a growing demographic let us prove that we can also be a chic one.

  • I love wearing natural fibres as they’re warm when it’s cold out and cooler when it’s warm.

    • For women of a certain age natural fibres are essential for warmth without becoming clammy

  • I love wearing natural fibres, especially wool in Winter as it keeps you cosy without adding bulk so you stay warm and stylish!

  • I love to wear natural fibres, particularly wool,as they are suitable for any occasion in their infinite variety.

  • I wear all natural fibers...wool and cotton being the top two. Synthetic is always itchy, does not wash or wear well whereas natural lasts for years! Loving that lambswool grey coverup. Off now to look at their site! Thanks.

  • Natural fibers keep me warm without being suffocatingly hot, are lightweight and best of all take colors beautifully.

  • Always look for wool and cotton, they feel so much better and look good after a lot of washing

  • I love wearing natural knit fibers and I love wearing all natural fibers. The wool keeps me warm even when wet!!! My husband taught me that as he was out in the weather warm or cold.
